Hi, my name is Dannie Cameron and I am the owner and creative director of GreatDesigns. Before starting my own business in 2002, I had been working in marketing management for almost 20 years in a variety of companies including small privately owned businesses, huge multi-national corporations and an internationally renowned not-for-profit society.

Marketing management may be my background, but design is my passion. I love working with clients to create the perfect logo, and then translate that into a strong brand identity that won’t turn your customers on to your opposition.

I started this company because I truly believe that great design need not be expensive. We have a set range of pricing for all work undertaken, and can generally give a verbal estimate in a matter of minutes.

Our Graphic Design office is based in Hamilton, New Zealand, yet we are lucky enough to have clients all over the globe. in 2008 we are working on projects for businesses based in New York and Dubai as well as all over New Zealand.

You Talk - We Listen

Design is about making sure your logo and marketing materials will perform for your business, so we spend time with you, before any design work begins, and we listen. We need to understand who YOUR customers are, this will enable us to ensure your logo is targeted to the right audience… the logo for an off the track camping ground would be wildly different to one for a five star resort.

We listen to your ideas, and we discuss these with you. We will of course have ideas of our own.

We know you have a choice, so here’s what makes us different:

We NEVER miss a deadline.
We agree with you up front what the delivery date is for design work, and we stick to it. Nothing will ever be delivered to a printer or publisher late. Of course, there is an extra charge if it’s an urgent job, or if you have left it to the last minute to let us know something is required – but not one that will break the bank.

We stick to our QUOTE.
When we give you our written quote for work, we stick to it. If we have under-estimated the amount of time a design will take, that’s not your problem. Of course if you change your mind about the specification of the work after the quote has been agreed, than we will charge you for the extra time, but again our prices are fair and will not break the bank.

Our prices are COMPETITIVE.
We don’t charge an arm and a leg for design work, it’s not necessary, we want to do a good job for you, so you will refer us to your friends. If you shop around you will find we are not the cheapest, and neither are we the most expensive designers around, but the work we do is guaranteed to be of excellent quality, and the prices we charge won’t have you checking the bank’s interest rates on overdraft facilities.
