Great Design is Personal

Ever since I was a little kid, I have loved those brightly coloured pinwheels; one of my vivid childhood memories is an art class where we were given crayons, paper, a stick and a nail to make a pinwheel for oursleves. I remember colouring the squares as thickly as I could with the crayon; the jade green one was always my favourite.

After the colouring, cutting and careful assembly, I recall taking it outside and watching the colours blur as I gently blew on the blades. I always associate that memory with summer, and don't we all know summer means fun?

Every logo tells a story

Little did I know then, how that simple childhood toy was to influence my life. As a designer, one of the tools of my trade is my colour wheel; I use it daily to balance, and complement colours in a design.

When I was developing my own logo; it was important that the logo not only represent the business, but also recapture that element of fun and colour I remember from my childhood.

So if you look carefully, you will see the whirling blades of my pinwheel and the perfect colour balance of a designers colour wheel.

This logo captures the very essence of my work... And so it should be with your logo too. If your logo doesn't represent the passion you feel for your business or brand; then let me take a look at it for you.
